Little KGB – Kids Go Banking Launched by Kerala Gramin Bank

In a bid to allure youth and kid towards banking, Kerala Gramin Bank has recently rolled out their new banking application ‘Little KGB’ for youngsters under the age of 15. The application was unveiled in a grand release function held at  Kochi on 23 January 2017. The android application has started taking its rounds among kids. The application mainly consists of a collection of interactive stories. The stories depicts the journey of ‘Notey’, a little boy who has turned into a coin by an evil wizard. This interesting collection of comic stories have interactive pages as well banking and saving lessons for kids with it. The primary aim of the application is to create banking awareness and to cultivate saving habit in children. Toddlers can activate their bank account number with the application which let them avail the banking services like account balance, mini statements etc.

The application is developed by OrisysIndia consultancy services, the technology partner of Kerala Gramin Bank. Citing the success of the application KGB along with OrisysIndia is all set to make more tweaks in the application. More comic stories, interactive pages and games are to be added to the application shortly. The application is available free at play store.
